With the COVID-19 “damndemic” ravaging the world, and later worse in this country, the sports world was in a months-long standstill.
The NBA suspended its season for almost four months. Same with Major League Soccer, the Premier League and other soccer leagues around the world. The NHL took a page out of those leagues’ books and did the same.
Major League Baseball had to delay the start of its regular season. Hell with its fight with the MLB Players Association, I didn’t think they’d have a season at all.
But all those leagues have one thing in common: they all found a way to come back and attempt to finish their seasons.
The NFL has the benefit of observing how the other leagues have been handling COVID-19, so they have a blueprint of what to do and not to do. Hopefully, we will be gifted with a full season (fingers-crossed).
So since there will be an NFL season that I could preview…
