2018 NFL Thanksgiving Weekend Picks

img_7982-26Game of the Week

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

The Packers, at 4-5-1, and the Vikings, at 5-4-1, cannot afford another loss if either want to catch the NFC North leading Chicago Bears (at 7-3, and WTF??!!!).  And given the landscape in the NFC, neither team can afford a loss if either wishes to clinch a wild card spot.

In other words,  this game is a playoff elimination game.  And it’s a heated division rivalry game on top of that.  Must see TV, baby!

I have the give the edge to the Vikings because, besides playing at home in prime time, the Packers look like a team spiraling out of control.  Aaron “A-A-Ron” Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy hate each other.  The defense has been under-performing.  Not a good mix for the Cheeseheads… Vikings 24, Packers 17.
