*I missed last week’s slate of games because of a combination of being too busy with work/family and poor time management. I’m back in the saddle this week.
Game of the Week
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers
This is not as much as a big matchup between two powerhouses, as it is about asking the following: is this the end of an era for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers?
Rodgers had a shitty game against the Lions last week, turning the ball over in the red zone and frankly just stinking up the joint while blaming his receivers in the process (how’s that for leadership?). He’s having a down year statistically without All-Pro receiver Davante Adams.
Meanwhile, those damn Cowboys are riding high, especially defensively. Micah Parsons has been a terror on defense all season and the Cowboys as a whole can get after the quarterback. It also helps to have Dak Prescott back slinging the rock on offense.
Y’all know the Cowboys would love nothing but to end the Packers’ chances at even a wildcard spot at Lambeau Field. Green Bay, led by Rodgers, has tortured Dallas for the last several years, making this even sweeter for the latter.
