2016 NFL Playoffs: Conference Championship Preview

Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots

Well, I was going into this game feeling confident in pick my beloved Steelers to pull the big upset in Foxborough.  After all, this is the first time my team has the “Killer Bs” (Big Ben, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown) healthy in the playoffs, and the defense has been on a roll.  Hell, both teams come into this game on long winning streaks (9 games for Pittsburgh, 8 for New England).

But that was before Brown did his infamously stupid Facebook Live crap, and now the Patriots are gonna use that as motivation to beat the crap out of my squad.  You know Tom Brady and Bill Bellicheat will have something cooked up for the Steelers…  Patriots 30, Steelers 20.

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons

I’m happy about this matchup for two reasons.

First, if you love offense (and I love me some offense), this is the game for you.  The two front runners for league MVP in Matt Ryan and Aaron “A-a-Ron” Rodgers  are going to put on a show for the ages.  And don’t forget both teams’ D suck hard.

Second, and most importantly, the Dallas Cowboys will not be playing in it.  Thank you Aaron, Mason Crosby and Green Bay.

Oops, back to the game.  I’m going with the Falcons, only because they will be playing at home.  It’s also the last game in the Georgia Dome.

I’m giddy with excitement…  Falcons 35, Packers 31.
