Game of the Week
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
Who would’ve thought the Bengals would be in an important game at this point in the season?
Anyone? BUELLER???
I’ve always said the Bengals were a decent offensive line play from a conference title contending team. Hell, they already have a talented, young and producing corps of skill players. Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd (as a slot receiver!) and rookie stud JaMarr Chase?!
And speaking of studs, they have a franchise QB in Joe Burrow, who plays with such confidence and swagger.
Add that with their improved defensive front seven who has been wreaking havoc, Cincinnati is turning into a team to be reckoned with in the AFC North.
The question is are the Bengals ready for primetime — i.e., a big early divisional matchup with the Ravens in Baltimore?
Not yet. QB Lamar Jackson is playing out of his mind and the Ravens are very well-rounded on both sides of the ball. Last I checked, Matt Stover is the best kicker in the league and is still in the running for the G.O.A.T. of kickers.
This will be one great entertaining game, but the Bengals aren’t there yet… Ravens 27, Bengals 21.
