I must admit, I didn’t think we’d have a 2020 Major League Baseball season.
There were SO MANY questions affecting the possibility of the season being restarted. How many games were going to get played? How would players be compensated? How would it count towards free agency?
So after an acrimonious several months of negotiations, Major League Baseball and the players’ union agreed Tuesday to a restart of what will be an abridged version of the 2020 season. I can sum up my thoughts in three words: thank, the, Lord.
Now that the season is upon us — tomorrow afternoon, by the way — I guess it’s time for me to make my picks. But since we didn’t really have much of spring training (“Summer Camp”, bruh? LMAO), picking division winners and what-not is gonna be like throwing shit against the wall. I’ll just say if, based on last year, if everyone is healthy and shit, here is how I see everything shaping out:
