2012 Week 15 NFL Preview

NFL-LogoGames of the Week

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

Both of those matchups have huge playoff implications.  First, the Giants-Falcons game pits two of the best teams in the NFC that has some implications on playoff seeding.  Plus, it will show the rest of the world if the Falcons are legit.  While I think Atlanta is a good team, I still do not think it is better than Green Bay.  Hell, it won’t be better than the Giants on Sunday.  This is New York’s time of year, and look for the Giants to come out of the Georgia Dome with a “W”. Giants 27, Falcons 20.

Speaking of teams being legit, it’s time for both Indy and Houston to show us all who is for real.  The Colts are a great story.  Their coach’s fight with cancer is nothing short of inspirational.  And rookie QB Andrew Luck has turned out to be not only the real deal, but a damn good leader.  And while they have some good wins (wins over the Vikings and Packers at home), they have yet to beat a team with a winning record on the road.  I think Indy will compete in Houston, but I think that Houston will come out firing in this one.  The Texans are pissed off from their Monday night embarrassment.  Look for them to take out that anger on the Colts.  This game will start off competitive, but will get ugly after the third quarter.  Texans 30, Colts 19.

  1. I’m really hoping the Texans defense will regain what they had built up earlier in the season. Great break down of the games.
