Stop Panicking Red Sox Fans!

There are three constants in life.

Death, taxes…

…and Red Sox fans pressing the panic button.

After an 0-3 start to the 2011 Major League Baseball season, there are quite a few Red Sox fans who are already freaking out.  Never mind the fact that there are 159 more games to go in the season.  Never mind that the ebbs and flows of an average baseball season will eventually separate the contenders from the pretenders.

In Boston, they are getting their grip on.

Look, despite the rough outing from their starting pitching, I still think the Red Sox will win the AL East.  I believe my Yankees pitching will negate their hitting prowess.  I think the Rays will score more than a run a game.  I also think the Orioles will wake up and realize they are the Orioles.

So don’t sweat the small stuff Red Sox fans.  The baseball season is a marathon — a long-assed one at that — not a sprint.

After all, things could be worse — you could be Mets fans…
