Just when I thought my beloved Manchester United has hit new lows, the loss to Crystal Palace is about as low as they could go.
They lost to a 15-loss team. They lost to that team by 4 goals. They were shut out by that same team. Oh, and by the way, they were swept by Crystal Palace for the first time – EVER.
Fucking pitiful.
That loss to the 15-loss under .500 Crystal Palace squad gave Man U their team Premier League record 13th loss. Man U is now in eighth place in the Premier League.
Forget about the Champions League at this point, but the question now is will Man U be able to participate in European soccer next season? Now that they sit 2 points behind sixth place Newcastle, I am not so sure.
If this is not grounds to firing manager Erik ten Hag’s ass, I don’t know what is.
Man U has been underachieving since his arrival, and they are not looking good now. That’s a damn shame, given they employ Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Harry Maguire.
Seeing Man U getting owned by Manchester City, Liverpool (blech!) and Arsenal is one thing, but getting swept by Crystal Palace is flat-out unacceptable.
Ten Hag’s ass can’t be fired soon enough. Let’s hope…
