It all comes down to this — AGAIN.
The Kansas City Chiefs (AGAIN) will face the Philadelphia Eagles (AGAIN) in Super Bowl 59. This will be the second Super Bowl rematch in as many years, with the Chiefs beating the San Francisco 49ers (AGAIN) last season.
As much as most of America outside of the Kansas City metropolitan area wants to see the Eagles win, I just think the Chiefs being the first team to win three straight Super Bowls is inevitable.
Against my better judgment, I’ve betted against the Chiefs most of the season because this is the worst I’ve seen them during the Patrick Mahomes/Andy Reid era. And even though the Eagles are better than they were a couple of seasons ago (they have Saquon Barkley, after all), I’m not betting against “Mahomes Magic”.
So as it pains me to tell the rest of America, Chiefs 27, Eagles 24.
