2012 NFL Week 5 Preview

Game of the Week

Denver Broncos at New England Patriots.  I must admit, the biggest reason why Peyton Manning is back is to see this matchup with Tom Brady.  It’s going to be EPIC.  That said, I like the Patriots at home.  It will be close – Denver has a good enough defense and New England’s is improving.  I think Brady and the Patriots’ offense will make enough plays at home to win.  Patriots 20, Broncos 17.

Thursday Night’s Game

Cardinals over Rams.  St. Louis is much-improved and playing hard for new coach Jeff Fisher.  Don’t sleep…

Sunday’s Games

Bengals over Dolphins
Packers over Colts
Ravens over Chiefs (this should be a resounding ass-whupping)
Giants over Browns (ditto here)
Steelers over Eagles
Falcons over Redskins (the over-under for total points in this game should be 100)
Panthers over Seahawks
Bears over Jaguars
Vikings over Titans
49ers over Bills
Saints over Chargers (I do not see Drew Brees losing to former San Diego teammate/rival Phillip Rivers)

Monday Night’s Game

Texans over Jets (“Tebow Watch” has officially begun)

Last week’s record: 11-3 (MUCH better…)
Year to date record: 36-26
