2012 NFL Week 3 Preview

Game of the Week

Atlanta Falcons at San Diego Chargers.  This game has shoot-out written all over it.  Both offenses have been in overdrive so far this season, with both teams averaging around 30 points per game (Chargers slightly less).  Both QBs are on fire.  Falcons QB Matt Ryan is taking the next level before our eyes.  No longer do they solely rely on the legs of Michael Turner (hell, neither does sobriety).  Meanwhile Chargers QB Phillip Rivers is doing his thing as always, this time with a FINALLY healthy Antonio Gates.  This game will obviously come down to which defense will get that all-important stop.  I think Atlanta’s D is better than San Diego’s, so the Falcons get the edge here.  Falcons 30, Chargers 27.
